FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Quick answers to the most common questions about cosmetic dental services, costs, and treatment procedures at Metal Dental.
How long do I need to stay in Vietnam for treatment?
+
Treatment duration varies. Porcelain crowns or bridges typically take 8–10 days, while implants may require 2 trips spaced 3–6 months apart.
Can I get a quote before traveling to Vietnam?
+
Yes. Simply send close-up photos of your teeth or X-rays, and our dentist will assess and provide a treatment plan with estimated costs before you book.
Do I need to book in advance?
+
Yes. Booking ahead allows the clinic to prepare the right dentist, materials, and schedule aligned with your flight itinerary.
Does the clinic support international patients?
+
Yes. We assist with scheduling, online consultations, treatment planning, and provide necessary support throughout your treatment journey.
What payment methods do you accept?
+
Metal Dental Clinic prefers cash payments and accepts several major foreign currencies, including AUD, NZD, USD, CAD, and EUR. We also accept international bank transfers, Wise transfers, and credit/debit card payments. Please note that card payments may incur additional bank processing fees.
What is Metal Dental's warranty policy?
+
Dental crowns, bridges, and implant treatments at Metal Dental Clinic are covered by a clear warranty policy, which varies depending on the materials and treatment selected. Upon completion of treatment, patients will receive full details regarding the warranty period and applicable terms and conditions.
What if I have issues after returning home?
+
If you experience any concerns after returning home, you can contact us via WhatsApp or email for advice and assessment from our dental team. If warranty treatment or clinical intervention is required, patients will need to return to Metal Dental Clinic for examination and treatment in accordance with our warranty policy. Warranty coverage is valid only at Metal Dental Clinic
Can I travel during my treatment period?
+
Yes. Most treatments are flexibly scheduled, allowing you to combine treatment and tourism during your stay.
Do I need an interpreter?
+
No. Our staff can communicate in English and will support you throughout the treatment process.
Is the treatment painful?
+
Most treatments are performed with modern anesthesia, minimizing pain and ensuring a comfortable experience.
Why is dental care in Vietnam cheaper than in my country?
+
Dental treatment in Vietnam is generally more affordable due to lower operating and labour costs, not necessarily lower quality. At Metal Dental Clinic, we use modern technology, internationally recognized implant systems, and high-quality dental materials. Many patients find they can still save significantly, even after including flights and accommodation.
How safe is the sterility process?
+
We follow a 6-step CDC-standard sterilization protocol — instruments are individually packaged, single-use or autoclaved at 134°C before each case.
Can I get a treatment plan before I travel?
+
Yes. Simply send us photos, X-rays, or CT scans and our dentists can provide a preliminary treatment assessment.
Can I get all my treatment done in one visit?
+
Many treatments can be completed in one trip. However, implant cases usually require a second visit after healing.
What implant brands do you use?
+
We offer Ostem, Hiossen, Kontact, Neodent, and Straumann implant systems.
Can you help arrange my treatment around my flights?
+
Yes. We regularly customize treatment schedules around our patients’ travel plans.
Do I need to get an X-ray before travelling to Vietnam?
+
Not necessarily. If you already have a recent panoramic X-ray (OPG) or CT Cone Beam scan, you can send it to us in advance so our dentist can provide a preliminary assessment and treatment plan. If you don’t have one, there’s no need to get it done before your visit.
At Metal Dental Clinic, we provide complimentary examinations, consultations, X-rays, CT Cone Beam scans, and 5D oral scans when needed to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Is Da Nang safe for international visitors?
+
Da Nang is widely regarded as one of the safest and most welcoming cities in Vietnam for international visitors.
Am I too old for dental implants?
+
Age alone is not a limiting factor. Overall health and bone condition are usually more important than age.
Will my new teeth look too white or unnatural?
+
Not unless you want them to. We can create a natural-looking smile or a brighter Hollywood-style smile depending on your preference.
Will I be able to speak normally with my new teeth?
+
Most patients adapt quickly. Some temporary speech changes may occur initially, but usually improve within a short period.
What happens if I arrive in Vietnam and your dentist tells me I need more work than originally quoted?
+
This can sometimes happen because images and X-rays do not always fully reflect the actual clinical condition.
If, after examination, the dentist finds that additional treatment is needed, we will clearly explain: what the issue is, why treatment is necessary, what may happen if it is not addressed, and the additional cost involved.
You always have the right to agree, postpone, or decline any additional treatment.
No treatment will be carried out without your consent.
