We all had treatments done, including cleaning, and I had a crown, a lower plate with seven teeth, and an implant replaced. Everything was completed over four visits (about 1–1.5 hours each), including full X-rays, scans, and molds. The cost was around 30% of what we would pay in New Zealand — amazing value. The clinic was very professional, and the staff were welcoming and made us feel comfortable throughout. There can be a slight language barrier, so take your time during the first consultation to fully understand the treatment and costs. We also met other Kiwis there who were very happy. “After much anxiety choosing a dentist and the best treatment plan I made it even harder for myself by choosing a non English speaking clinic, very much on the recommendation of other New Zealanders. After a thorough examination with state of the art equipment the Metal Dental dentist was adamant that I keep as many of my natural teeth and did not recommend the plans offered by other dentists. That being to remove all my teeth and use All-on-4 arches. His confidence and assurance of a good outcome convinced me to go ahead with his recommendation. With much trepidation we embarked on a long 10 day process. The clinic was always positive and extremely friendly. An interesting open plan suite of dental chairs was unusual but soon became ‘normal’. Reception staff were amazing, helpful beyond expectations, clinic team an amazing set of dentists and nurses. While I have a second stage in 3 months I cannot speak highly enough of the outcomes to date. There are not enough superlatives to describe the clinic and the work they have done. Cost aside, which was significantly less expensive than other clinics in New Zealand, Australia, Malaysia and India, i could not recommend Metal Dental more highly. Trust in their processes, service, support and technical abilities. We are so convinced by the clinics abilities that my wife will be accompanying me on my final round to have some work done for herself. 5 stars seems an inadequate measure or the clinics abilities!”

The main dentist who removed the wisdom teeth was very professional and quick, I could tell he knew exactly what he was doing. “My wife and I travelled to Vietnam for some basic dental work, but ended up getting full cosmetic treatment here — 20 zirconia crowns each, plus a root canal and deep cleaning. It has now been about a week, and we are slowly adjusting, but we are loving our new smile. The clinic is very clean and professional. The dentists, especially the female dentists, are gentle, careful and very skilled with deep cleaning and scaling. The owner / head dentist is extremely skilled, especially with the more complicated and detailed work. “Metal Dental have been amazing - their professionalism, speed and care has been exemplary. I got a gold crown, and my partner had a couple of crowns, veneers and some light fillings. The main dentist Dr Tuan Tu is really skilled and fast, its clear he is really experienced. As well as the crown work needed, he recognised the oral surgery i also need, and told me to go to a hospital for it - my dentist in NZ has referred me to an oral surgeon for the same thing, but he picked it up immediately. As well as talking me through the crown process, they gave me the option to buy the gold for the crown myself, or go to the market for me. I asked them to, and they came back with a gold ring they would melt down for the crown! They were super transparent about the gold buying process, sending me the receipt and outlining everything for me, all in English, both face-to-face and over WhatsApp. The crown installation was super easy and painless. We also both got a really gentle and thorough clean. They get through an amazing amount of work, and book appointments to suit you and for the same day of next day/s. ”
